The Ball High JROTC sponsored the annual Galveston Blood Drive Monday, January 30th, with the assistance of the MD Anderson Bloodmobile conveniently parked in the school parking lot. An appreciation gift and refreshments were provided by the JROTC for all donors. The drive began at 9 a.m. and lasted until 2 p.m.

The blood bank received more than 30 units of blood from the Ball High staff and students.  Ball High teacher Kat Dispensa was one of the first in line to donate her blood. “I donate two or three times a year. It’s for a good cause.”
