Sweetly (Lee) Musick, a Cadet Junior Ball High School, was runner up in the prestigious Veterans of Foreign War – Voice of Democracy (Audio Essay) Contest. On Saturday, Sweetly read and then received a $375 check and plaque acknowledging her second place and the VFW district of the essay contests the voice of democracy.
