For the first time in school history, the men have their own volleyball team. The squad of intrepid athletes is coached by Larry Menifee. Although not UIL sanctioned, the men do play UIL teams as well as private volleyball clubs.

According to Brandon Lemelle, a member of the team, “Depending on our record, we can go to the state playoffs. Right now, we stand 2-2 on the season. This is fun and exciting!”

Chris Dupree, another member of the historic team said, “It’s a thrill playing with teammates you’d never expect to become your friend.”
