While Ball High sports teams have faired well this year, both basketball and football (won district) made the playoffs in their respective districts, no Tor team has outperformed the dynamic group of weightlifters that Coach Eddie Caldwell has assembled at Ball High.

Four girls – Jazzche Jones (220 lbs.), Kate Lindamood (165 lbs.), Jaylyn Edwards (123 lbs.) and Kari Nance (198 lbs.) advanced to the regional meet and won medals in their respective weight classes. Edwards and Nance won third place awards while Jones and Lindamood earned 2^nd place finishes to advance to the state meet.

At the state meet in Frisco, Texas senior Jazzche Jones earned a 12^th place finish in the 220 lb. weight class and junior Kate Lindamood earned a 15^th place finish in the 165 lb. weight class.
