The Ball High tennis team hit the courts last week to begin their season, opening the season with two wins and a pair of losses. The season is still young, and Coach Khaleed Matthews said he has high hopes for his young team.
“We made to the second round of the playoffs and lost to Kingwood Park High School. We are in off-season now. Our best players are Nolan Hernandez and Chloe Chase.
“We are a team that gets better each day, and our goal is to get to district play and be successful. Right now, we have two wins and two losses. Progress is being made each day,” said Matthews.
