The Tor juggernaut traveled to Beaumont, TX to take on the Beaumont United Timberwolves, and to no one’s surprise, our gridiron heroes extended their torrid winning streak to seven games. The Tors have climbed to #38 in the state ranking in the 5-A division.
QB Kydan Barker threw for 113 yards on 10-17 passing with two touchdowns, but the Timberwolves’ defense snatched two interceptions, but a stellar performance by Barker.
Arentheis Winn led all rushers with 52 yards on 12 carries. The Tors totaled 146 yards on the ground, and while the offense didn’t put up the stats like previous games, they did their job and put enough points on the board to earn the win.
Golden Tornado receivers grabbed 10 passes for 141 yards led by Jonah Williams with four receptions for 47 yards. The Tor defense rose to the occasion by holding the Timberwolves to 7 points with 3 sacks.
The Tors have proven to be the irresistible force that hasn’t run into the immovable object. Our gridiron heroes are off this week with a bye. The following week, Ball High plays Barbara Hills in our Homecoming game.
