The Tors traveled to Harris County TX to play the Sterling Rangers in another blowout win. The Tors continue to put up massive point deficiencies and embarrass their opponents, final score 54-0. Improving to 5-0
The Tors started the scoring with a 44-yard pass early in the game. Senior Jonah Williams kept the scoring going with a 75-yard rush straight to the house for another Tors touchdown. Ball High ended the first half scoring with an easy 1-yard rush. Ball came out the second half putting the ball in the hands of Joey Cancilla and Saiaiki Jones, combining for 134-yards, and two short touchdowns. The Tors ended the game with a total of 359-yards rushing.
“I had no idea we had that much. That’s good. We needed a night like that.” said Sheldon Bennight, Ball High’s head coach. “They lined up a little differently than what we planned and I think we adjusted well to it.”
Defensively, the Tors held the Rangers to only 131- yards total, forcing two fumbles and an interception in the third quarter by Noah Crockett. Only downfall was having eight penalties worth 99-yards
“Trust me, we’re going to work on that this week in a big way,” said Bennight. Ball High hosts Port Arthur Memorial in what could be the Tors toughest opponent yet.
