Our Lady Tors faced off against the Hitchcock Bulldogs and though, the Tors fought hard until the end they fell short at the final buzzer 55-47.
To start the game, the Tors came out and put up five quick points scoring off a layup from Braeon Arceneaux and a three ball from Rai Lacy. Hitchcock responded with eight unanswered points.
In the second quarter, the Tors cut Hitchcocks lead down 19-17, by the end of the quarter the Tors found themselves trailing by double digits, 27-17.
Leading the Lady Tors were Arceneaux with 15 points and five rebounds, Rai Lacy with 12 points, and KK Toussaint with 10 points and six rebounds
“They’re a tough team that always seems to go deep in the playoffs, but I wanted to test the girls early and get them ready for district,” Ball High head girls basketball coach Jeff Johnson said.
