The Ball High boys’ basketball team swung back into action, starting the second half of the season with a 4-1 record (9-8 overall, 3-3 District).
Their most recent game turned into a nail biter against Iowa Colony in which the Tors were able to go onto their opponent’s home court and pull away with the game, snapping their three-game losing streak on the road. Final 56-58.
Senior Phoenix Pope hit the game winning bucket with five seconds left. Pope and Jr Logan Ashcraft both led the scoring with 13 points. Taj Petteway right behind them with 11 points. The Tors host La Porte on Thursday.
