On February 27th, 2025, 60 JROTC cadets boarded a bus in front of Ball High and traveled to the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston, Texas to learn about the history of aircraft.
To kick off the tour Miguel Rangel (manager of school tours) went over the rules, expectations, and history of the museum, then the cadets were released to explore the museum and observe the aircraft.
At 11:40 the cadets ate lunch outside the museum and then boarded the bus to travel to Main Event where everyone received wristbands, a free food ticket and a play card. The excited JROTC cadets were then released to go explore! It turned out to be a great day for all and a fascinating study of airplanes!
