The ball High swim and diving team took to the water in the Regional and State meets and returned home with a fistful of medals and ribbons.
State
Ball High School diver Sianna Acosta made her 3rd State appearance at the UIL 5A state championships in Austin TX. Where she advanced to finals and placed 11th overall with a score of 364.70.

Individual Accomplishments:
Junior Sianna Acosta (Girls 1m Diving) 1st Place with a score of 390.20.
Senior Kyanna Jankowiak: 3rd Place in the Girls 50 Yard Freestyle, with a time of 25.94; 5th Place in the Girls 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:08.52.
Senior Moya Hudson: 8th Place in the Girls 100 Yard Breaststroke, with a time of 1:19.92.
Senior Abigail Obert: 11th Place in the Girls 100 Yard Butterfly, with a time of 1:18.01.
Relay Team Accomplishments:
Girls 200 Yard Freestyle Relay 4th Place with a time of 1:55.81 Team Members: Abigail Obert (, Isabel Obert, Ra’Niya Pope, Kyanna Jankowiak.
Girls 400 Yard Freestyle Relay 6th Place with a time of 4:48.81.
Team Members: Freshman Ra’Niya Pope, Sophomore Alexis Luza, Freshman Isabelle Beasley, Senior Moya Hudson.
Sprinter Kyanna Jankowiak said “I wouldn’t trade these past four years for anything. I’ll never be able to replace my coach and teammates no matter how long I live.”
