Junior Belen Valdez won 1s place in the Grand Kids Festival with her entry “The Golden Mermaid”. She received $200 for her effort, the second consecutive time that she earned first place at the Grand Kids Festival! Ms. Valdez also earned a 1st place prize at the 2025 Houston Livestock & Rodeo as we reported earlier. Congratulations Ms. Valdez!
