The Ball High School choir will have their yearly pop show when choir students get to vote on songs they want to sing! This year’s theme evolved into songs from movies and with this we were able to pick these smash hits: Skyfall, What was I Made For, For Good, and I Put a Spell on You.
The choir produces a pop show at the end of the school year as our way of saying “farewell” to the seniors and an opportunity to sing fun songs for people. We have been working very hard on these songs and have taken time to learn them and learn the choreography for the songs; we will also encourage seniors (or anyone who auditions) to do a solo and enjoy the chance to sing by themselves. The Ball High choir will sing in the auditorium after school on May 15th.
We will also sing different songs at the UIL music competition, and a song titled Let There be Peace on Earth at Galveston College graduation.
“I mainly did this for my grandma. She loves to hear me sing, and I enjoyed hanging out with new people” said Joaquin Castro, a senior member of the choir.
