The Ball High girls’ and boys’ varsity golf team competed in the District Preview Golf Tournament at Moody Gardens Golf Course in Galveston earlier in the season and the Tors took home the 2nd place team medals out of 17 teams by shooting a team score of 331. This brought the Tors season record to 104-29.
Aeden Jones led the Tors by taking home the 2nd place individual medal out of 75 boys by shooting a score of 78. The rest of the Tors were Charlie Kirschner (79-5th), Ty Marshall (84-T13th), Dylan Rowe (90-36th), and Logan Ashcraft (95-T44th). The Lady Tors competed in the individual competition only.
The Ball High Tors varsity golf team then took home the 3rd place medals in the 2nd Annual Noah Ross Memorial hosted by Dulles HS at Sugar Creek Country Club today in Sugar Land by shooting a team score of 343. There was a total of 21 teams at the golf tournament.
Dylan Rowe led the Tors by shooting a score of 83, which tied for 10th place out of a total of 87 players. The rest of the Tors were Logan Ashcraft (84-12th), Aeden Jones (85-T13th), Charlie Kirschner (91-T32nd), and Ty Marshall (91-T32nd).
Fulshear won the team event with a score of 334 and Jake Knobler of Kempner won the individual title with a score of 72.
