In the past three years nearly 50 bodies have been found in the Houston Bayou waterways, and in the past two weeks six bodies have been found which has started suspicion of a serial killer. Citizens fear for their safety to merely walk home from work due to this “Bayou Butcher” and have been demanding that the police department get to the bottom of this problem immediately.
The Houston Police department has reported that most of the deaths in the past three years are due to the homeless population disposing of their community’s bodies once they have passed. Many of the bodies found as well have signs in their autopsy that they died from drowning in the waters. Out of the 24 bodies found in 2025, one has been documented as a non-accident and was rather a suicide. But this is just what the head of Houston wants you to believe, in my opinion.
The Houston Chronicle has put out their response to the population’s fear of there being a serial killer running around Houston. The Chronicle has claimed that nearly everybody found this year has died due to drowning in an “accident”, even though we have never in all of Houston’s history seen that great an amount of people dying from drowning in the bayous.
The population of Houston knows the waters of the bayou, and even homeless people wouldn’t dare to enter those sludgy waters. The head of Houston wants you to believe that it is only the homeless population that is dying, and that it is homeless people’s way to dispose of their friends; and yet they died of water asphyxiation?
In America alone, there are estimated to be 25-50 active serial killers in the country that we do not know about. With the number of bodies found, the short time frame in which they were, and The Houston Chronicle’s suspicious behavior trying to cover up what is really happening, all points to the fact that there is a crazed Bayou Butcher running amongst Houston.
