
Our Tor boy’s and girls’ varsity swim relays started the season by placing 6th in the medley relays for both events one and two. The boys’ that won consisted of Ried Lepo, Ryan Pryor, Gavin Ogden, and Henry Anderson, and the girls who won consisted of Mia Landry, Maddi Scott, Ra’Niya Pope, and Sibley O’Haver.
In events 17 and 18 both varsity teams placed 10th, Those boys were Ogden, Anderson, Stefano Lisinchia, and Lepo, and the girls were Lexi Luza, Laila Miller, Samantha Munson and Landry.
Scott placed 6th in the 500 free, Pope placed 14th in the 50 free and Lepo placed 9th in the 100 butterfly.
The highlights of this meet proudly pointed out by Coach Brittney Crenshaw was that out of all 12 of the attending swimmers nine of them were freshman, “These athletes did a wonderful job today at their first regional swim meet, I look forward to coaching them in the years that come” Coach Crenshaw also pointed out that freshman Lepo swam not only in two relays but in an induvial event, and freshman Scott was the only induvial swimmer to make podium for the individual event.
