Ms. Rong Wang’s Chinese classes marched through the halls of Ball High to celebrate the Year of the Horse, Houston Dragon Academy proudly brought the spirit of tradition and joy to Ball High School.
“Our students marched with a magnificent dragon, symbolizing strength, unity, and prosperity, while also carrying Labubu — a playful and beloved character representing creativity and the happiness of childhood,” Wang noted.
The dragon embodies the power and vitality of Chinese culture, and in the Year of the Horse, it also reflects courage, energy, and the unstoppable spirit of moving forward. Labubu added a touch of innocence and imagination, reminding us that cultural heritage and modern creativity can beautifully come together.
“Through this parade, our students not only shared Chinese New Year traditions with the community, but also celebrated friendship, diversity, and hope for a bright year ahead,” Wang added.
May the Year of the Horse bring strength, success, and boundless joy to all!
