On Sunday 3/15/26 the West Point Baptist Church in Galveston celebrated Women’s History Month with their Women’s Day Program and one of Ball High’s Speech Team members, Amazing Johnson, a senior at BHS and the Student Council President, was recruited to perform the poem “Still I Rise” by Mayo
u Angelou as part of the church’s Women’s History Month recognition.
