The Ball High band and cheerleaders danced through the streets October 5th, leading the parade to celebrate Ball Highs homecoming. Galvestonians and visitors packed the parade route lined with cheering students who whooped and cheered as the parade wound its way to the seawall and back to the high school.
Newly appointed GISD Superintendent Mathew Neighbors had the honor of leading the parade. ¨The rain held off and the parade was well attended by the community. It was exciting to watch our students perform and be recognized. The homecoming parade is a fantastic and unique tradition-it is one of the many reasons being a Tor is so special! ¨
Friday evening at the homecoming football game, Isaias Hohl and Isabel Moreland had the seats of honor as they were elected King and Queen of homecoming.
