The Tors Hit the diamond on Tuesday against Manvel and had a tough fight against the Mustangs, but the Tors pulled out the come-from-behind victory 3-1 thanks to some late inning heroics by the Tor batters..

Righthander Austin Raines started for the Tors and gave up a run in the top of the first, but that was all the runs the Mustangs could muster from the Tor pitching staff.

The Tors batted around in the bottom 5th and the Tors racked up 3 quick runs to take the lead. Head Coach Russell Farrell then brought in his ace lefthanded closer Jonah Williams to shut down Manvel hitters for the last two innings and take the big win 3-1.

Last week the Torsopened district play by spliting their season series with the Santa Fe Indians by identical 4-3 scores

The Tors sit at the top of the district, tied with three other teams at 2-1. The Tors finish their games against the Mustangs on Friday at Manvel. First pitch at 7p.m.
