The Tors took the field against the La Porte Bulldogs Thursday in a battle to stay close to the Santa Fe Bulldogs, who lead District 18 5-A.
The Tors took the early lead 1-0 on bases loaded sacrifice fly to left field by Sully Mixon. La Porte rallied and scored at one apiece in the top of the fourth inning. The game settled into a pi8tching dual until the Tors struck in the bottom of the seventh inning when Parker Koza single home Norman Jackson for the walk off win.
