First established in 1884, Ball High School is proud to announce that the Galveston, TX district will enhance Ball High School with a new and improved $200 million campus. This groundbreaking project is being built in a multi-phased development. This allows Ball High to remain in operation and accommodate its students while construction continues.
This new school will feature extra classrooms, advanced science labs, a fully stocked library, a brand-new auditorium and sports complex, a natatorium, and an art wing. ¨We´re thrilled to offer our students a top-notch education in this cutting-edge facility. It´s going to be a game changer. ¨ said Principal Smith.
Although this will be a tremendous change, many parents and administrators would like to keep the history of Ball High in mind. “A campus that looks forward while respecting the past.” a GISD Facilities Committee member said. Ball High will remain in its current location but will be greatly expanded.
Construction is scheduled to end in December 2025.
