Elon Musk has yet again produced new and innovative ideas regarding his company, Tesla. In 2018, he planned to make an “old school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in Los Angeles.” The Supercharger location was originally in Santa Monica, but due to local regulations the company had to move this project to Hollywood.
Tesla has finally made construction plans for the site. The diner will be a semi-circular building with two screens to show movies. No one knows if Tesla will pursue any other sites like this, but it could be possible. Kimbal Musk, Elon Musk’s brother, owns a chain of restaurants which gives Tesla leverage if they were to expand this project.
